SWU certificates not used by March 31 are forfeited permanently with no exceptions. Set From to your home region and To to Anywhere to scan all tracked routes at once, then sort by class to surface every flight with open C or A inventory right now. Once you spot availability, call AA to apply the certificate immediately. You can also use the ExpertFlyer Awards and Upgrades search to check SWU inventory on any specific route one date at a time, but when your expiration deadline is close and you need to survey a wide range of options fast, the Expanded SWU Search is the best option

Search each leg before applying anything. If the long haul transoceanic segment shows C0 and the short domestic connection shows C6, do not confirm the domestic leg first. Burning an SWU on a two hour domestic hop when the segment worth thousands of dollars has no inventory is the most common and most costly SWU mistake.
