Configuration by Top Airlines

ExpertFlyer shows you how each top airline configures its cabins, so you can compare seats before you book. Every seat map is built from real aircraft layouts and rated seat by seat, highlighting the best seats and the ones to avoid.

Layouts run window to window, so you can see how each cabin is arranged at a glance. In business class, a 1-2-1 layout means one seat at each window and two together in the middle.

Every cabin comes with the specs that shape comfort:

  • Pitch: the distance in inches from a point on your seat to the same point on the seat in front, a rough guide to legroom.
  • Width: the space between the armrests.
  • Recline: how far the seatback tilts back, in inches. For flat-bed seats it's shown in degrees, with 180° meaning fully flat.
