ExpertFlyer Flight Details gives you pre-trip specifics about any scheduled flight up to 330 days in advance. Search by airline, flight number, and departure date to see scheduled departure and arrival times, terminals, aircraft type, meal service, flight distance, and scheduled duration. Reliability history from the prior two months shows how often the flight has run on time, helping you plan connections and ground transport with more confidence. You can also set a Flight Schedule Alert directly from the results to receive immediate notification if the schedule changes.

What you can do with Flight Details

See every detail about a specific flight before you board

Search any flight by airline, flight number, and departure date to get the full picture: departure and arrival terminals, aircraft type, meal service code, block time, and route miles. All times are shown in local time for each airport. Results are available up to 330 days in advance.

Check the reliability score to know how this flight actually performs

Every result includes a Reliability score showing the percentage of time that flight arrived on time over the past two months, alongside the average number of minutes late when it did not. A result showing 85% / 46m means the flight is on time 85% of the time and averages 46 minutes late when it runs behind. Use this before booking to assess real operational risk, not just scheduled times.

Set three types of alerts directly from any flight result

Click the bell icon on any flight result to create a Flight Schedule Alert, a Flight Availability Alert, or an Aircraft Change Alert, or all three at once. Get notified if the departure or arrival time changes, if seats open in a specific fare class, or if the aircraft type is swapped before departure. The Keep Active option continues monitoring through every change until the day you fly.

Save searches and come back to the same flight without re-entering details

Name and save any search as a query directly from the results page. Retrieve it later to recheck the same flight without entering the airline, number, and date again. Useful when monitoring a booking over weeks leading up to travel.

How frequent flyers use Flight Details

Flight details reliability score for connection planning

You want to know if a flight has a solid on-time record before you book a tight connection

Search the inbound flight and check the Reliability score. If the result shows a low on-time percentage or a high average late arrival in minutes, that connection carries real risk regardless of what the scheduled layover looks like on paper. Pair this with a Minimum Connect Time check in Travel Information to decide whether the itinerary is worth booking.

Aircraft change alert setup from flight details results

You are booked on a specific aircraft and want to know if the equipment gets changed before departure

Set an Aircraft Change Alert directly from the Flight Details result. If the airline swaps the plane for a different aircraft type before your departure, you will receive an email notification immediately. This matters if you selected a seat based on a specific configuration, or if your premium cabin seat exists only on the originally scheduled aircraft.

Flight schedule alert for early schedule change notification

You want early warning if your departure time shifts so you can act before other passengers

Set a Flight Schedule Alert from the bell icon in your Flight Details result with tolerance set to any time change. If the airline publishes a schedule change, you receive an email the moment it appears in the data, often hours before the airline notifies passengers directly. Getting that notification early puts you in a position to request free rebooking onto a preferred alternative before other passengers on the same flight start doing the same.
